Are you an experienced international payroll professional who enjoys combining hands-on delivery with process improvement, data and cross-border people matters? Join our HR team in a senior role where you will coordinate payroll operations across multiple countries, support global mobility and help co-shape stronger, smarter HR services alongside the colleagues leading these areas.
You will combine end-to-end multi-country payroll ownership with a broad HR operations remit. Working closely with our Global Mobility & Employment Tax Advisor, you will contribute expertise and operational support on cross-border employment matters and be capable of taking over coordination and delivery when required. As a senior individual contributor, you will naturally coordinate priorities across countries and providers, bring expertise to the team and act as a trusted adviser to employees, managers and stakeholders.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Own payroll delivery: manage accurate and timely end-to-end payroll across multiple countries, from input and validation to reconciliation, approval, corrections and statutory reporting.
· Safeguard compliance: coordinate country-specific payroll, wage tax, social security and statutory obligations across the international portfolio, working with local providers and advisers to maintain robust controls and documentation.
· Contribute to and provide back-up for international mobility: work alongside the Global Mobility & Employment Tax Advisor as a senior contributor, providing expertise and hands-on support for policies, governance and cross-border cases. Act as a dependable back-up by taking over agreed coordination and delivery when required, including payroll and HR actions for secondments, A1 declarations and other international employment matters.
· Deliver dependable HR operations: manage key employee lifecycle activities, maintain accurate data and documentation, and provide practical guidance on payroll and HR questions.
· Improve how we work: lead payroll and HR projects, analyse data and risks, strengthen reporting, and simplify, standardise or automate processes.
· Strengthen the team: coordinate day-to-day priorities naturally, share senior expertise, coach colleagues and provide cover during absences and peak periods.
Job requirements
To be successful in the role you will bring:
· At least 10 years of relevant senior-level experience across global mobility advisory, employment tax advisory, international payroll and HR operations.
· Demonstrable end-to-end payroll experience across multiple countries, with a strong understanding of international payroll governance and the ability to coordinate country-specific legislation, providers and practices.
· Practical exposure to global mobility, international assignments, social security or employment tax coordination.
· Strong analytical and digital skills; advanced Excel capability and confidence with HR and payroll systems. SAP SuccessFactors experience is an advantage.
· A pragmatic, hands-on approach, sound judgement and the confidence to advise stakeholders and bring clarity to complex matters.
· Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
Additional governance & integrity requirements
Given the senior leadership nature of this position and the potential representation of the Company on boards, steering committees, joint ventures and other governance bodies, the successful candidate must be capable of performing the role in accordance with contractual provisions, applicable laws, corporate governance requirements, the Company's Delegation of Authority and other applicable Company policies.
