Why this role matters
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Officer to join our Treasury team.
This is a unique opportunity to become a key contributor to a centralized treasury function within an international renewable energy group. You will support the management of the group's cash, banking relationships, debt portfolio, guarantees, investments, treasury systems, and financial risk management activities.
The role combines hands-on treasury operations with continuous improvement initiatives, providing broad exposure to international treasury activities and close collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Project Finance, and external banking partners.
In this role you will resoinsible for:
Cash Management & Banking
Manage the day-to-day operation of the group's international cash pool and in-house bank. Monitor liquidity, funding needs, and intercompany funding flows.
Coordinate bank account openings, KYC processes, and treasury set-up for new entities. Maintain banking mandates, signatories, user access rights, and e-banking administration.
Act as the first point of contact for operational banking matters and payment support.
Manage banking relationships and monitor compliance with financing agreements and covenants.
Risk Management
Support FX and interest rate risk management activities and hedging transactions.
Maintain hedge portfolio reporting and mark-to-market valuations.
Ensure compliance with treasury policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Debt Management & Treasury Operations
Manage debt administration for external financing, shareholder loans, and intercompany loans.
Maintain loan schedules, repayments, rate fixings, and treasury records in SAP.
Support refinancings, capital injections and other treasury financing projects.
Provide treasury support and advice to finance stakeholders.
Treasury Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain treasury data and processes within SAP S/4HANA.
Support treasury system enhancements, automation initiatives, and bank connectivity projects.
Drive continuous improvement of treasury processes and reporting.
Guarantees & Letters of Credit
Manage bank guarantees, parent company guarantees, and letters of credit. Maintain guarantee registers and related records in SAP and treasury reporting tools.
Coordinate issuances, renewals, amendments, transfers, and fee arrangements. Work with Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Project Finance teams to ensure compliance and maintain accurate records.
Investments & Stakeholder Management
Manage deposits and other short-term investments in line with treasury policy. Monitor investment performance and banking counterparty exposure.
Act as a treasury contact point across the organization and support treasury-related projects and initiatives.
Job requirements
To be successful in the role you will bring:
Required:
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Audit, Transaction Services, or Financial Consulting.
Strong knowledge of cash management, treasury operations, banking products, financial markets, and payment processes. Experience with cash pooling, in-house banking, treasury systems, and bank connectivity.
Knowledge of FX and interest rate risk management.
Experience with guarantees, investments, debt administration, or treasury projects.
Experience with banks, treasury documentation, and SAP or a similar ERP system.
Advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with renewable energy project structures and funding mechanisms is a plus.
